Ontario needs nuclear power as it forecasts an unprecedented increase in electricity demand in the coming decades -- and Bruce Power is planning for the next generation by exploring new opportunities to further our region’s role as Ontario’s Clean Energy Frontier. Bruce Power is undergoing a federal integrated Impact Assessment to build up to 4,800 megawatts of new nuclear capacity at the Bruce Power site — a project referred to as Bruce C — and engagement is an important part of the process.
